Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has teamed up with the Indian Armed Forces as the official mobility partner for the Bharat Rannbhoomi Darshan. This national expedition celebrates India’s military history and honors the bravery and unity of its armed forces. The initiative was launched by Shri Jishnu Dev Varma, the Governor of Telangana, alongside senior officials from the Army, Navy, BSF, and the TKM team.
Running from February 3 to February 25, 2026, this journey will see a 32-member team, including personnel from the Army, Navy, and BSF, travel over 3,400 kilometers. They will visit 14 cities, including Dwarka, Bhuj, and Delhi, promoting awareness of India’s defense legacy.
As part of this collaboration, TKM will supply 15 Hilux vehicles known for their durability and reliability. These vehicles are expected to perform well in challenging environments like deserts and off-road paths, thanks to their advanced 4×4 capabilities. TKM is also committed to providing on-ground technical support during the expedition.
Mr. Vikram Gulati, TKM’s Country Head, expressed pride in the partnership, stating, “Mobility plays a vital role in mission-driven endeavors.” He emphasized the importance of the Hilux in demonstrating reliability under tough conditions.
Major General Arvind Yadav echoed this sentiment, noting that the expedition fosters connections with the public. He stressed that reliable mobility is essential for engaging effectively and sharing the values of the Indian Armed Forces.
