An 18-year-old student from Loyola University, Sheridan Gorman, was shot and killed near the lakefront in Rogers Park early Thursday morning. Sheridan was out for a walk with friends when a masked man approached and opened fire around 1:30 a.m. Tragically, she was struck in the head and died at the scene.
