A private jet crashed shortly after taking off from Bangor, Maine, on Sunday evening. It was carrying eight people. In recorded communications, controllers can be heard clearing the pilot for takeoff despite the weather concerns. A few minutes later, they declared, “All traffic is stopped on the field!” Soon after, it was announced that the aircraft was upside down.
