A man was arrested in a South Carolina beach town after being involved in a pedestrian accident. Earlier on Thursday, three people—a child, another child, and an adult—were hit by a vehicle near Sullivan’s Island, close to Charleston. According to police spokesperson Sgt. Matthew Storen, the suspect, identified as Justin Collin Adams, was apprehended without incident on a boat. Authorities confirmed that the area is now safe. Adams was taken into custody after being located by a helicopter.
