At least 20 Palestinians lost their lives during a crush at a food distribution center in southern Gaza, managed by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF). According to the Gaza health ministry, 15 deaths were attributed to suffocation from toxic gases during the incident. Israeli authorities have insisted on a new aid system, citing concerns that Hamas diverted aid.
