Tragic Discovery: Dead Body Found in Singer D4vd’s Impounded Car – Latest Updates and Insights

The LAPD is looking into a grim discovery in Hollywood: decomposing human remains found in the trunk of a car. The vehicle belongs to D4vd, a rising singer currently on tour, with a scheduled performance in Minneapolis.

The investigation began around 12:30 p.m. PT on September 8. Officers were alerted to a foul smell coming from a car at a tow yard on N. Mansfield Ave. A plastic bag containing human remains was located in the front trunk of a Tesla. Sadly, officials from the L.A. County Medical Examiner’s Office couldn’t determine the victim’s identity or gender due to the remains’ condition. They have classified this as a death investigation.

The Tesla, registered to the musician whose real name is David Anthony Burke, was reported abandoned in Hollywood Hills five days earlier, and it had been at the tow yard for a few days before the smell was detected. It’s registered in Hempstead, Texas, and was towed after being left for a while.

D4vd, at just 20 years old, has gained popularity with hits like “Romantic Homicide” and “Here With Me,” both boasting over a billion streams on Spotify. His current tour, the Withered World Tour, wraps up in Los Angeles at the end of September.

Despite the seriousness of the situation, the artist has not publicly addressed the matter yet. His last show was in Madison, Wisconsin, just before the investigation unfolded, and he recently promoted an upcoming album on social media.

The case highlights the importance of community vigilance when it comes to safety. As of now, the investigation continues, and more details may emerge in the coming days.

For ongoing updates, sources like KABC and TMZ are covering the story closely, providing real-time information as new developments arise.
