Known for his viral hits on platforms like TikTok and SoundCloud, D4vd’s rapid rise includes touring with artists like SZA. His debut album, Withered, released in April, features tracks recorded in his sister’s closet on an iPhone. As of recent reports, he has around 32 million monthly listeners on Spotify.
D4vd’s career has since been impacted by the unfolding events. His tour dates in Seattle and San Francisco, as well as a performance in Los Angeles, have been canceled. He is cooperating with investigators examining his potential connections to Rivas. Currently, there is no declared person of interest in the case.
Detectives are investigating images of Rivas from 2024 to uncover why she might have been in the vicinity and to clarify connections to D4vd. It’s also noted that numerous individuals could have accessed the Tesla, raising questions about who might have used it when it was last seen.
