Kelley Mack, a promising American actress known for her roles in shows like “The Walking Dead,” “9-1-1,” and “Chicago Med,” passed away on August 2 at just 33 years old. Her family shared that she died in her hometown of Cincinnati after fighting a rare brain tumor called glioma.

Born in 1990, Kelley grew up fascinated by film. After receiving a mini video camera for her birthday, she began acting in commercials as a child. She graduated from Hinsdale Central High School in 2010 before earning a degree in cinematography from Chapman University in 2014. Her talent garnered attention early on; she won an acting award from Tisch School of the Arts for her memorable debut in “The Elephant Garden,” which also won the Student Visionary Award at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2008.

In TV, Kelley made significant strides, portraying Addy in Season 9 of “The Walking Dead,” and playing Penelope Jacobs in “Chicago Med.” Fans of her work also remember her from FOX’s “9-1-1.” Her film credits include Alice in “Broadcast Signal Intrusion” and Wilda in “Delicate Arch.” Some projects she worked on, like her upcoming role in “Universal,” are still set to be released.
