Patrick shared his thoughts on Stewart’s skills, saying, “His mix of speed and size is what makes him special. He faked me inside and then quick-stepped outside. I was caught off guard.” This quickness and agility make Stewart a standout player this season.

The Bengals’ new defensive coordinator, Al Golden, also weighed in on quarterback Joe Burrow. Golden praised Burrow’s calm nature and ability to read the field. He mentioned how Burrow can avoid risky plays by throwing the ball away or taking a sack instead of forcing a throw.

Golden also has high hopes for safety Jordan Battle, who is in a better mental and physical state this year. “He’s in great shape and can really command the defense now,” Golden said. “He’s become a better communicator and tackler, which is crucial for our team.”

Right tackle Amarius Mims limited his discussions about the injuries that sidelined him recently. However, he did express his eagerness to participate in the preseason opener. “It’s a game of physical violence, and I’ll deal with the pain for the team’s sake,” Mims said.
