Transform Your Logistics: Freight Technologies Unveils New Transportation Management System for the USMCA Region | PYMNTS.com

Freight Technologies has rolled out a new transportation management system (TMS) aimed at brokers, shippers, and logistics operators in the USMCA region.

This latest offering, known as Fleet Rocket, is crafted to support both domestic and cross-border logistics while enhancing supply chain management, according to a press release from the company.

“Fleet Rocket came to life after discussing with our customers. They expressed the need for better tools to navigate cross-border freight and nearshoring trends,” said Freight Technologies CEO Javier Selgas.

The system covers important aspects like compliance, customs documentation, and shipment tracking, specifically for cross-border logistics.

For managing domestic freight, it offers features such as fleet management, real-time tracking, and driver communication. Users can also expect customizable dashboards.

Additionally, Fleet Rocket includes an ocean freight module that manages everything from container booking to analytics for North American ports.

With application programming interface (API) connections, users can enjoy real-time tracking and improved operational efficiency through integration with existing ERP and finance systems. The system also provides insights through reporting analytics.

Selgas highlighted that their TMS merges robust features with quick implementation to help clients cut costs, reduce risks, and streamline operations.

Digitization is reshaping the freight industry globally, especially for cross-border trade. As reported in November, freight and fleet companies are moving toward digital solutions for faster bookings and invoicing.

Earlier this year, Freight Technologies also launched a digital freight-matching platform in Mexico, utilizing machine learning to connect shippers with carriers.

In February 2023, they updated their platform to assist trucking firms in enhancing logistics and transportation throughout North America, focusing on cross-border shipments.
