Dot Ai has just introduced ZiM (Zero Infrastructure Mesh), a cutting-edge hardware for Internet of Things (IoT) tracking. This product aims to modernize asset management by replacing older technologies.
Edmund Nabrotzky, the CEO of Dot Ai, shares, “After extensive research, we are excited to launch ZiM. This technology is set to change how logistics handle asset tracking—an area that still relies on outdated methods and RFID systems that haven’t evolved much since the 1980s.”
Highlights:
- ZiM efficiently collects data right where it’s needed, making asset management easier. It can read both passive (battery-free) and active (battery-powered) devices to support various systems.
- The device can work on its own battery when attached to moving equipment or can be wired for static locations like aisles or doorways.
- It features up to four general-purpose I/O pins, allowing connection to external sensors or signals to improve operations. Bright LEDs are included to help guide workers during tasks.
