Finastra is changing the game in trade finance with its new AI assistant, Assist.AI.
Assist.AI is built on the Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service and utilizes Microsoft Copilot technology. This assistant helps train new employees by providing instant answers to their questions. By automating routine queries, it allows staff to focus on more important tasks.
Bill Borden, a corporate vice president at Microsoft, said, “We are excited to work with Finastra to simplify trade finance for banks globally. Leveraging Azure’s capabilities, this solution demonstrates how AI enhances efficiency and improves user experience. Our partnership highlights our shared vision for the future of finance.”
The AI learns from user interactions, continually improving and staying relevant over time.
Andrew Bateman, executive vice president at Finastra, mentioned, “This much-needed solution marks a major step in our mission to promote open finance. By offering real-time support to bank employees, we help them manage the complexities of trade finance more effectively.”
