Dr. David Massaro became Chief of Staff at the VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System in April 2025. Since 2006, Dr. Massaro has worked at various levels within the Veterans Health Administration. He has served as a Senior Medical Advisor, Chief of Primary Care at the Bay Pines VA Healthcare System, and in roles focused on electronic health records. His experience allows him to align clinical operations with key priorities that directly benefit Veterans.
Dr. Massaro holds a Doctor of Medicine from the University of South Florida, an MBA from the University of Michigan, and a Master’s in Health Care Delivery Science from Dartmouth College. He is board-certified in Family Medicine and Clinical Informatics. He is also a Fellow in several prestigious medical organizations.
