Transforming Healthcare: Artisight Partners with Yale New Haven Health to Revolutionize Hospital Platforms

Yale New Haven Health has teamed up with Artisight to implement its Smart Hospital Platform. This partnership will initially focus on virtual nursing but aims to expand into advanced technologies likecomputer vision and AI in the future. The main goal is to improve patient safety and lighten the workload for healthcare teams.

According to Artisight’s CEO, Dr. Andrew Gostine, this collaboration shows Yale New Haven’s commitment to innovation in healthcare. He expressed excitement about how their technology might enhance clinical workflows and the overall patient experience.

Artisight’s platform has already shown promise by improving operational efficiency in hospitals. In another health system, their virtual nursing solution helped quadruple the rate of on-time patient discharges. This innovation allowed bedside nurses to gain an extra 25 minutes with each patient by having virtual nurses manage admissions and discharges.

The Smart Hospital Platform aims to lower healthcare costs while boosting efficiency and patient care. By leveraging NVIDIA GPUs, Artisight’s technology supports automated monitoring and real-time documentation, all linked with electronic health records (EHR).

Currently, over 400 hospitals across 30 health systems utilize Artisight’s services, achieving notable results like reducing patient falls by more than 50% and lowering nurse turnover rates. In July 2025, Artisight introduced voice-activated medical interpreters, allowing communication with patients in over 240 languages, reflecting a growing trend towards making healthcare more accessible.

The push for technology in healthcare is not just about efficiency; it’s about enhancing the overall experience for patients and staff alike. With advancements like Artisight’s, the future of hospital operations looks promising.
