Transforming Healthcare: Dignity Health Launches State-of-the-Art Surgery Clinic in Prescott Valley

Dignity Health Yavapai Regional Medical Group has opened a new general surgery clinic in Prescott Valley. This clinic aims to provide convenient pre-and post-operative care, along with various in-office procedures. It’s an exciting expansion from their existing surgery clinic in Prescott.

This addition comes shortly after they launched a sports medicine clinic in the same facility. Notably, over the past year, they have also welcomed four new general surgeons. This expansion means more comprehensive healthcare options are available to the community.

Dr. Viren Bavishi, President of Dignity Health Arizona Physician Enterprise, emphasizes the importance of local access to healthcare. “Residents shouldn’t have to travel far for medical care. This new clinic is a step toward keeping healthcare within the community,” he says.

The clinic is supported by four skilled surgeons, all trained in robotic surgery: Dr. Shane Moore, Dr. Alexandra Weston, Dr. Shane Monnett, and Dr. Jeffrey Aguiar. Their combined expertise aims to enhance the quality of care available locally.

“We are excited to provide outpatient general surgery services at both YRMC campuses,” shares clinic manager Susi Hinojosa. This service promises to contribute to a healthier community overall.

The clinic is located at 7700 East Florentine Road, Building B, Suite 203.

Recent surveys have shown a growing number of people preferring local healthcare options. A recent study by the American Hospital Association noted that patients are up to 30% less likely to seek treatment outside their immediate area if they have local access to quality care. This trend emphasizes the need for facilities like the new surgery clinic in Prescott Valley.

With new medical facilities popping up and communities prioritizing local care, the future of healthcare seems to be shifting toward more accessible and specialized services. This evolution reflects a broader trend where convenience and quality of care lead the way in patient decisions.
