The Shaws made this pledge in 2019 as part of their estate planning, highlighting their commitment to quality healthcare. Their legacy will support crucial improvements, including upgrades to equipment, new technologies, and enhancements to facilities.

Paul McGinty, president of the NorthBay Health Foundation, expressed gratitude for the Shaws’ vision. He remarked that their contribution reinforces the importance of accessible, high-quality healthcare, ensuring a positive impact for years to come.

This isn’t the first recognition of the Shaws’ support. Their legacy is honored with the “Shaw Family Kitchen” at NorthBay Medical Center in Fairfield. The donation will play a significant role as NorthBay continues to serve the community through its multiple locations, including NorthBay VacaValley Hospital and various specialty care centers and urgent care clinics.

The latest urgent care clinic opened recently in American Canyon, expanding NorthBay’s reach and ability to provide timely medical care.
