Rethinking the Undergraduate Political Science Major

This workshop will focus on the structure of undergraduate political science programs. It is a response to the American Political Science Association’s (APSA) call to rethink undergraduate education in political science. We invite contributors to share how their programs have embraced APSA’s recommendations. We want to hear about their focus on student learning outcomes and the diverse experiences of different institutions. Submissions should relate to the 2024 APSA Presidential Task Force Report.
The 2025 APSA Virtual Research Meeting on April 10th and 11th will dive into the theme of “Political Science Research in a Virtual World.” This online event is a chance for scholars to share research, receive feedback, and create valuable connections for future projects.
