Green is set to depart from One Medical on April 4, as per a report from CNBC referencing an internal memo from Amazon. An Amazon spokesperson acknowledged his contributions to the company and wished him well in his future endeavors.

Green became the CEO of One Medical in September 2023, shortly after Amazon acquired the company. During his leadership, One Medical expanded into new areas and opened additional offices. The company also integrated more closely with Amazon, offering services to Amazon Prime members.

At NRC Health, Green plans to leverage his background in care delivery and digital transformation to enhance the company’s data-driven healthcare solutions. He expressed excitement about leading NRC during this important time and emphasized his commitment to improving healthcare experiences for patients and providers.

When Amazon purchased One Medical for $3.9 billion in July 2022, the company aimed to reshape healthcare by combining in-person, digital, and virtual care services. However, in February 2024, reports emerged of Amazon cutting hundreds of jobs across its healthcare divisions, including One Medical and Amazon Pharmacy, as part of a broader effort to reduce operating losses.
