Trinity Health Enhances Emergency Response with New Ambulance Addition

Trinity Health in Minot just added a brand-new ambulance to improve its emergency services. This boost means stronger support for patients in North Dakota.

During a small event at the ambulance station, officials presented the new vehicle. It cost $250,000, raised thanks to community donations and the Trinity Health Foundation. The addition is notable not just for its modern features but also for its four-wheel drive, ideal for the challenging winter weather and rural roads of the Minot area.

This is the second four-wheel drive ambulance in their fleet. Trinity EMS assured that this upgrade will help ensure quicker responses, no matter the road conditions. The new vehicle also has a lift that improves safety for both patients and medical staff.

Currently, Trinity Health operates eight ground ambulances, each usually manned by a two-person crew. These ambulances serve a vast area around Minot, working alongside the health system’s air ambulance service.

In a recent survey, 70% of community members expressed gratitude for enhancements in emergency medical services, noting timely responses as critical to their peace of mind. Experts stress that investing in such upgrades is crucial for community health, especially in regions prone to severe weather.
