Tulane’s volleyball team is on fire! This past Saturday, they secured their third straight win in the Pelican Invitational, sweeping Alabama State 3-0 at Avron B. Fogelman Arena. With this victory, Tulane improved to 8-3 this season and remain unbeaten at home.
Avery Burks led the charge with an impressive 15 kills, also contributing 10 digs. This marks her fifth match this season with double figures in both categories. Ava Derbes joined her with 10 kills, showcasing her skills yet again. Setting up the plays was Zoe Rachow, who tallied a stunning 39 assists and added seven digs.
On defense, Dayla Ortiz shined with 12 digs, while Annabelle He added 10, solidifying the team’s strong performance.
