Tulane Rowing Shines at New London Regattas: Eighth and Twelfth Place Triumphs!

Tulane sailing recently wrapped up a weekend of competition in New London, Connecticut, finishing eighth and twelfth in different regattas. In the Open Atlantic Coast Championship Semifinals, the team placed eighth out of 18 boats with a score of 138 over eight races. The duo of skipper Christian Ebbin and crew Sabrina Anderson shone in the B Division, securing sixth place with a score of 58.

In the A Division, Kelly Holthus and Jonah Wozniak teamed up, finishing ninth with a tally of 80 points.

During the Stu Nelson Trophy, hosted by Connecticut College, Tulane took 12th overall, scoring 207 across seven races. In the B Division, Lola Kohl and Sabrina Casagrande finished sixth with 52 points. However, the teams in both A and C Divisions struggled, finishing 13th.

The next challenge for the Green Wave comes with the Women’s ACC Finals and the Nevins Trophy on October 11-12. The finals will be at MIT in Boston, while the Nevins Trophy takes place at the United States Merchant Marine Academy in King’s Point, New York.
