Türkiye is gearing up to host the 31st UN Climate Change Conference (COP31) in 2026. Orhan Solak, the deputy director of the Directorate of Climate Change, shared that the aim isn’t just to organize a smooth event but to spark lasting climate awareness throughout the country.
At the “Awareness Raising Conference on Climate Action in Türkiye After COP30” in Istanbul, Solak emphasized the importance of translating international climate agreements into local actions.
