This aligns with the band’s social advocacy; last year, they expressed their disapproval of the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. Their statement read, “We may not be experts in the region’s politics, but we believe it’s important to share our stance.”
Both Easter Lily and Days of Ash are accompanied by a digital edition of the band’s Propaganda zine, offering deep dives into their creative process. This latest issue features notes from the Edge and discussions about recovery and art.
Fans are eagerly awaiting a full-length album from U2, set to launch in late 2026. “We want this new album to be vibrant and raw,” Bono emphasized, reflecting a desire for music that resonates as a form of resistance in today’s tumultuous world.
