The student, who lives nearby, reported that while she was collecting her food, the driver unexpectedly touched her inappropriately. After the incident, he drove away in a dark sedan.

Following the assault, campus police sent out an alert to students, leaving many feeling uneasy. One student shared, “It is kind of scary. I order food often, and it makes you think about safety.” Another expressed concern about trust, stating, “It’s terrifying to think someone would take advantage of that.”

Typically, students feel safe while ordering food, but this event has led some to become more cautious. The UCLA Police Department provided a description of the suspect: a man in his 50s to 60s, shorter in height, with gray hair and a full beard. He was last seen wearing a dark zip-up sweatshirt and cream-colored pants.

Authorities are encouraging anyone with information to come forward to help identify the suspect.
