Xiaoming Zhai, an associate professor, received a $10 million grant to create a center focused on using generative artificial intelligence in education. This center aims to support science learning through innovative AI tools. In the Regenerative Bioscience Center, researchers are exploring treatments for traumatic brain injuries with promising stem cell therapies, further emphasizing how UGA helps transform scientific breakthroughs into real-world applications.
A notable collaboration with North Dakota’s Grand Farm aims to innovate agricultural practices in Georgia. This partnership will focus on new technologies for growing specialty crops, with initial projects already launched in 2025.
