Is your favorite grocery store among the best in the U.S.? A recent study by Solitaired has ranked 50 grocery stores, and some from Georgia made the list!
The study analyzed over seven million Google reviews from 3,000 people in 100 cities. The top spot goes to Mazzaro’s Italian Market in Petersburg, Florida, which boasts an impressive 4.8-star rating.
In Atlanta, Trader Joe’s on Monroe Drive is celebrated, landing at No. 22 with a 4.7-star rating. Another Trader Joe’s on Peachtree Road comes in at No. 50. It’s clear that these stores are well-loved for their products and service.
On the flip side, Solitaired also highlighted the worst grocery stores. The Safeway on 40th Street NW in Washington holds the unfortunate title of the worst, with a low 3.4-star rating.
Here’s how some Atlanta stores rank among the bottom:
- #19: Walmart at 835 MLK Jr. Dr NW – 3.6 stars
- #35: King Soopers at 1225 Caroline St NE – 3.7 stars
- #37: Cub-St. Paul Phalen at 1275 Caroline St NE – 3.7 stars
- #45: Kroger at 590 Cascade Ave SW – 3.7 stars
