As the Sundance Film Festival prepares for its potential big changes in 2027, it’s full steam ahead for 2025’s event. The 41st edition kicked off on January 23 in Utah and will run until February 2. This year showcases a diverse lineup of over 85 films and six episodic projects, all available to watch in-person across Park City and Salt Lake City, or even online.
Robert Redford, the festival’s founder, promises a program that highlights vibrant global filmmaking. Last year, the festival honored Alessandra Lacorazza’s In the Summers with the U.S. Dramatic Grand Jury Prize.
