1. Take the Bone Bottom elevator to the Wormways.

First, head back to Bone Bottom after defeating the Savage Beastfly in the Chapel. You can use the shortcut back through Deep Docks to save time. Once you arrive, take the Bone Bottom elevator to the top and jump off at the signpost. From there, hop over to the left and dash into the Wormways entrance.

2. Climb the Wormways shafts.

Inside, make your way right and jump over the hole from earlier. Use midair dashes to avoid the worms and keep moving up. When you reach the end, jump left and evade Gromlings while retrieving health from falling worms if needed—their attacks can restore your Silk.

3. Rescue the hidden Flea.

At the bottom of the next vertical shaft, don’t pull the lever just yet—jump back up to find a secret passage. Inside, defeat the Aknid and free the Flea!

4. Buy the Wormways map from Shakra.

After rescuing the Flea, continue right and climb until you find Shakra. Purchase the Wormways map for 70 Rosaries. It’ll be crucial for navigating the area ahead.

5. Obtain the Dead Bug’s Purse.

From Shakra, jump to the upper ledge and avoid the falling worms. Follow the path to find a Dead Bug’s Purse on a Pilgrim’s corpse. This item lets you keep some Rosaries upon death.

6. Reach the entrance to Shellwood.

Backtrack all the way to the last worm passage. Carefully jump over spikes and past worms to finally exit the Wormways. Take a moment to appreciate your progress!

Be prepared for a challenging platforming section next. Go slowly—it’s a long drop back to Bone Bottom if you fall. Near the top, look for a hole to access Shellwood. Here you can set a new Bench for future adventures.
