Samsung has launched the Galaxy F06 5G in India, marking it as the brand’s most affordable smartphone. It’s designed with One UI 7 and runs on Android 15. You can find it on Flipkart, Samsung’s website, and in select stores.

The starting model comes with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage for INR 9,999 (about $115). If you need more memory, the 6GB variant with the same storage is available for INR 11,499 (~$133). Plus, there’s a cashback offer of INR 500 for Axis and ICICI Bank card users.

What makes the Galaxy F06 stand out is its 5G support. It’s the first in the F0x series to feature 5G connectivity, supporting 12 different bands used by telecom networks across India.

Galaxy F06: Affordable with Future Updates

This device is also a great option if you want future-proofing. It qualifies for four generations of Android OS upgrades and offers security updates for four years, which is impressive for its price range. However, it lacks some of the advanced AI features found in Samsung’s premium models.

The design is another highlight. The back of the phone features a unique ‘Ripple Glow’ finish, setting it apart from other Galaxy devices. You can choose between two colors: Bahama Blue and Lit Violet.

Under the hood, the Galaxy F06 is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset. This 6nm processor includes two high-performance cores and six efficiency cores, providing a solid performance for everyday tasks.

The phone features a large 6.7-inch LCD display, bright enough at 800 nits, and has a standard 60Hz refresh rate. The camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor and a decent 8MP selfie camera, making it capable for basic photography. It also has a sturdy 5,000 mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging.

In comparison, the Galaxy A06 5G offers similar specs, but it includes enhancements like a smoother 90Hz display and IP54 protection against water and dust, starting at INR 10,499 ($120).
