Unforgettable Night at the ACM Awards: Lainey Wilson Crowned Entertainer of the Year – Check Out the Full Winners’ List!

Lainey Wilson stole the show at the 60th Academy of Country Music Awards, taking home four awards, including capping her night with the coveted entertainer of the year title. This marks her second consecutive win for the evening’s top honor. Her album “Whirlwind” also secured the album of the year award.

This year, up-and-coming star Ella Langley made a splash with eight nominations, winning five awards, including best new female artist and single of the year for “You Look Like You Love Me.” This duet with Riley Green was a pivotal moment in Langley’s career, also winning awards for visual media and music event of the year.

Basking in the glory of her historic win, Wilson enthusiastically stated, “The girls are kickin’ down some barn doors, and I like it!”

Cody Johnson started the night strong with the song of the year award for “Dirt Cheap,” a song he co-wrote solely, a rarity in today’s collaborative music scene. Following tradition, Chris Stapleton claimed his usual spot as male vocalist of the year, while Old Dominion and Brooks & Dunn maintained their reign in the group of the year and duo of the year categories, respectively.

Before the main event, pre-telecast awards honored Ella Langley as best new female artist and Zach Top as best new male artist. Lainey Wilson and Jessie Jo Dillon also received accolades for their songwriting contributions, showcasing the vibrant talent in the industry.

The night’s performances were a highlight, starting with a medley celebrating six decades of ACM history, featuring legends like Reba McEntire and Wynonna Judd. A special moment was the tribute to Keith Urban, who received the ACM Triple Crown Award, celebrated by Chris Stapleton and Megan Moroney.

The 2025 ACMs were streamed live across about 240 countries, highlighting the show’s growing global audience. This year’s format, lasting two and a half hours, offered more performances and engaging moments than in previous ceremonies.

The winners list reflects a mix of seasoned veterans and promising newcomers. With stars like Lainey Wilson and Ella Langley at the forefront, the future of country music looks bright and diverse.
