“Unifying Youth: How Thousands of Indian Students Embrace the ‘Yuva Shakti, Bharat Ki Shakti’ Pledge” – Social News XYZ

Thousands of students across India came together recently for a powerful event named ‘Yuva Shakti, Bharat Ki Shakti’—translating to ‘Youth Power, India’s Power.’ This initiative, organized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), aimed to unite young minds in a shared commitment to the nation.

The event took place across five major universities representing different regions of India: Jamia Hamdard in New Delhi, the University of Kashmir in Srinagar, M. S. Ramaiah University in Bengaluru, Himalayan University in Itanagar, and Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University in Ahmedabad. Students across the country participated in a synchronized pledge, celebrating their dedication to India.

This pledge emerged in response to a recent tragic event: a terror attack in Pahalgam on April 22, followed by a significant military operation named Operation Sindoor. This sense of patriotism and resilience united the students. During the event, they expressed their loyalty to India’s unity and their collective determination to contribute to a self-reliant nation.

The aim echoed the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, emphasizing principles like Aatmanirbhar Bharat, which translates to a self-reliant India, and Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat, meaning ‘One India, Great India.’ These concepts highlight the importance of citizens coming together for progress.

Prominent figures at the event included Dr. Pankaj Mittal, Secretary General of AIU, and various university leaders who celebrated the power of youth as catalysts for change. Professor Vinay Kumar Pathak, President of AIU, noted, “Our youth are shaping Bharat today.”

In a notable move, AIU also announced the cancellation of academic agreements with Turkey and Azerbaijan due to their lack of respect for India’s sovereignty. This decision reflects AIU’s commitment to uphold national values in all collaborations.

Experts emphasize that such initiatives are crucial for fostering civic responsibility among young individuals. According to a recent survey by the National Youth Council, over 75% of young people expressed a desire to engage in national issues, showcasing their eagerness to participate in shaping the country’s future.

As students from various regions joined their voices, they not only made a pledge but also sent a powerful message: this generation is ready to lead and create change in India. Their commitment embodies the spirit of Yuva Shakti, solidifying their role as the driving force behind the nation’s progress.
