Six members of the University of Arizona community are being celebrated in this year’s 40 Under 40 list. This recognition shines a light on young professionals in Tucson who excel in leadership, service, and community impact.
Danielle Oxnam, the project director for University Initiatives and Policy, shared her excitement: "It’s a huge honor. My goal is to improve the university for everyone. This award celebrates those committed to making Southern Arizona better, and I’m proud to play a part in that."
Stephanie Feder, senior director of business development at the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine, echoed this sentiment. "Being named to the 40 Under 40 list reflects our mission in integrative medicine. It shows that our hard work is making a difference."
The annual 40 Under 40 honors will take place on August 26, featuring Olympic gold medalist Kerri Strug as the keynote speaker.

Remarkably, this isn’t the first time the university has seen such strong representation. It had notable members on the lists for 2023 and 2024, showcasing a continuous commitment to leadership in the community.
In recent years, studies have shown that involvement in local initiatives can greatly enhance community engagement. A 2022 survey indicated that 60% of young professionals feel motivated to contribute to projects that promote local wellness and sustainability. This trend highlights a growing focus on community and personal development among younger generations.
The dedication of these individuals not only impacts their fields but also inspires others to strive for positive change in Southern Arizona.
