University of Minnesota Athletes Gear Up for NCAA Track and Field First Round

The University of Minnesota is heading to the 2025 NCAA Men’s and Women’s Outdoor Track and Field West First Round from May 28 to 31. A total of 21 events from the men’s team and 18 from the women’s team have qualified, promising an exciting competition.

The Gophers will showcase their talent in 39 events at E.B. Cushing Stadium on the Texas A&M campus. The top 48 athletes in individual events and the best 24 relay teams from the region will take part. The men will compete on Wednesday and Friday, while the women will compete on Thursday and Saturday.

Live coverage will be available on ESPN+, with real-time results provided by Flash Results. In each event, the top 12 finishers will move on to the NCAA Outdoor Championships in Eugene, Oregon, from June 11 to 14.
