Senior Kasra Ghoddousi opened the scoring in the 17th minute with a powerful left-footed shot, marking his seventh goal this season. Granite Hills nearly equalized in the 35th minute, but a fierce shot hit the left post.
In the second half, Ghoddousi sent a 60-yard free kick into the box, which senior Rayan Heyati brilliantly headed into the goal. This was Heyati’s ninth goal of the season and Ghoddousi’s 13th assist.
Trojans’ goalkeeper Lucca Clouthier enjoyed a relatively quiet evening, making only three saves and achieving his eighth shutout of the season. The Cougars finished their campaign with an 18-6-5 record.
