MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – This Saturday, the Spark Imagination and Science Center is hosting its annual Inspire Your Heart With Art event. It’s a special day where kids can showcase their creativity through art.
Tiffany Martin, a representative from the center, shared, “Our mission is to inspire life-long learning in both science and the arts. We want to offer various arts activities throughout the year.” This month, they have a fun activity called Art Eye Spy. Kids can explore the museum and find hidden art pieces.
The event is made possible through a grant from the YCF and the Arts Council of Greater Morgantown. Thanks to this grant, the center will also spotlight a different artist every few months. Tiffany explained, “This is a great way to introduce children to artists they might not know about.”
The goal of Inspire Your Heart With Art is to show how art influences our daily lives. Tiffany emphasized, “Art inspires us to create and express ourselves. This event focuses on the inspiration behind our creativity.”
