Universal has just shared the trailer for “Jurassic World Rebirth.” This will be the seventh film in the beloved Jurassic franchise, which has been captivating audiences for over three decades.
The story picks up five years after “Jurassic World Dominion.” A team embarks on a daring expedition into remote equatorial regions. Their mission? To extract DNA from three giant prehistoric creatures for an exciting new medical project.
In this film, Scarlett Johansson takes on the role of Zora Bennett, an expert in covert operations. She leads the team tasked with retrieving genetic material from the dinosaurs. The cast boasts a talented lineup, including Jonathan Bailey, Rupert Friend, Ed Skrein, Mahershala Ali, and Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, among others.
Bailey portrays Dr. Henry Loomis, a paleontologist. Mahershala Ali plays Zora’s partner, Duncan Kincaid, while Rupert Friend is Martin Krebs, a representative of the company funding their mission. Other cast members include Philippine Velge, David Iacono, Audrina Miranda, and Bechir Sylvain, who all support Zora in the expedition.
Gareth Edwards directs the film, working from a script by Michael Crichton and David Koepp. Patrick Crowley and Frank Marshall are the producers, while Steven Spielberg, known for directing the original “Jurassic Park,” serves as an executive producer alongside Denis L. Stewart. John Mathieson is the cinematographer for this installment.
Filming took place in various stunning locations, including Thailand, London, and California. Universal will release “Jurassic World Rebirth” in theaters on July 2, 2025. This summer, the studio gave fans a first look at the film.
