Adobe has launched a new camera app for iPhones called Project Indigo. It’s designed for those who love photography, and it promises to elevate your mobile photography experience.
Unlike traditional camera apps that take a single shot, Project Indigo captures a burst of images. It then combines them to create a single high-quality photo with less noise and a broader range of colors. This approach aims to mimic the look of professional cameras.
The app is free and works on iPhone 12 Pro, Pro Max, 13 Pro, Pro Max, and all iPhone 14 models, though Adobe suggests using it on an iPhone 15 Pro or newer. Best of all, you don’t need to log in to an Adobe account to use it.
Marc Levoy, an expert in computational photography who previously worked on Google’s Pixel cameras, contributed to this app. He describes it as a step toward a more advanced mobile camera that incorporates the latest tech in photography and AI.
