Canon has unveiled the EOS R6 Mark III, a versatile camera designed for both photography and videography. With a 32.5-megapixel sensor, enhanced autofocus, and the ability to record video in up to 7K quality, this full-frame mirrorless model is set to launch on November 25th. The body will retail for $2,799, while you can get it paired with RF 24-105mm STM or RF 24-105mm L lenses for $3,149 and $4,049, respectively.
Compared to its predecessor, the R6 Mark III offers a boost from 24 to 32.5 megapixels. It shines in video capabilities, providing 4K at 120 frames per second and 7K at 60 frames per second in RAW format. For video filmmakers, the camera features new gamma settings and custom looks, including Canon’s Log 2 mode. Also joining the R6 Mark III is the new RF 45mm f/1.2 STM lens. Priced at $469.99, it’s one of the most affordable f/1.2 lenses available. This lens is excellent for low-light photography and offers a shallow depth of field, making it a great addition for creative shots.
