Sony has revealed the PlayStation Plus games for May 2026, featuring exciting titles for subscribers. The lineup includes EA Sports FC 26, a well-known soccer game, alongside the action RPG Wuchang: Fallen Feathers and the indie Metroidvania Nine Sols. They’ll be available for download starting Tuesday, May 5.
EA Sports FC 26 is the latest version of the popular franchise. It offers familiar modes like Ultimate Team and introduces improvements in gameplay. Subscribers will also get access to the “EA Sports FC 26 PlayStation Plus Icons Pack,” enhancing their gaming experience even further this month.
In a recent review, IGN rated EA Sports FC 26 a solid 7/10. They praised the gameplay but criticized the aggressive Season Pass, describing it as a move that feels overly focused on profit.
For fans of challenging games, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers might be a perfect choice. Set in China’s Ming Dynasty, players take on the role of a pirate warrior investigating mysterious mutant outbreaks. IGN highlighted its engaging combat and creative character builds, scoring it an 8/10. However, they also noted some difficulty spikes that could catch players off guard.
The third title, Nine Sols, offers a beautifully crafted 2D experience with a focus on deflection-based combat, reminiscent of Sekiro. It launched in 2024 and has received praise for its compelling lore and stunning visuals.
As Sony adds these titles, remember that you have until May 4 to grab last month’s selections, including Lords of the Fallen, Tomb Raider I-III Remastered, and Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream.
With the gaming landscape continuously evolving, these additions showcase Sony’s commitment to providing a diverse and engaging library for PlayStation Plus subscribers.
