Fortnite is bringing its quirkiest ideas to the new season. Chapter 6: Season 2, titled “Lawless,” dives into a heist theme. Players can break into bank vaults, rob armored vehicles, and even loot trains on the island. And yes, it features a giant pickle that raps!
After a season inspired by Japan, this one feels like it’s borrowing vibes from Grand Theft Auto. Besides the thrilling heists, there are new spots to explore, like an area called Crime City. New features include gold water that grants powers, a fictional cryptocurrency for gear that resets after each game, and black markets for premium weapons. Plus, players can use a scanner to find enemies—and there’s a mob boss who crashes the party during heists. You can even drop onto the map with your own theme song, adding a fun twist!

With this season’s battle pass, players can earn a crew of themed characters, including the rapping pickle, known as Big Dill, and surprisingly, Sub-Zero from Mortal Kombat. Starting March 1st, there will also be Cowboy Bebop quests, and outfits for characters Spike Spiegel and Faye Valentine will hit the item shop on February 28th.
