Fortnite has teamed up with The Simpsons, bringing Springfield into the game. For the next month, players can explore this new theme and use various items inspired by the iconic show. Every collaboration brings cool cosmetics, and this time, Fortnite has added plenty of Simpsons skins and accessories to the item shop and a special battle pass.
This Simpsons battle pass is shorter than usual, with about 70 reward tiers instead of the typical 200. It features five skins: Homer, Marge, Ned Flanders, Blinky Fishstick, and Springfielder Peely. Each character comes with various styles and accessories like pickaxes and emotes. Notably, the new Peely skin arrives on November 11 and includes an alternate Professor Frink style.
The accessories reflect the show’s fun and quirky vibe. Players can grab a vacuum cleaner pickaxe or a shopping cart glider with baby Maggie riding in it. In addition to their classic looks, characters have unique styles; for example, Homer appears as a devil, Marge as a witch, and Ned in his humorous ski outfit.
Interestingly, while Marge is featured on the first page of the battle pass, you won’t immediately unlock her. Instead, you get the banana dog Peels as an initial companion. This season introduces “Sidekicks,” small companions that follow players around and celebrate their victories. Peels is a budget-friendly option to get players interested, while Marge becomes available once all Page 1 items are unlocked.
Despite the battle pass being shorter, it still costs the same—1,000 V-Bucks—and is part of the Fortnite Crew subscription.
Recent data shows that collaborations like this one engage players and keep the game fresh. A report from Statista notes that collaborations can boost game revenue significantly by attracting both existing and new players.
Overall, this Simpsons crossover offers a fun twist to the game, tapping into the nostalgia that many fans cherish. Whether you’re a longtime player or new to Fortnite, this collaboration is sure to bring some laughs and memorable moments.
