While this is impressive, it’s not always faster. The real benefit is having Gemini manage the repetitive parts while you can focus on other tasks. For example, when ordering food, you simply speak your request; Gemini does the rest.

Currently, Gemini supports automation for various popular apps:

• DoorDash
• Uber Eats
• Starbucks

Google aims to include more apps like Instacart, allowing more flexibility in the future. You can find compatible apps in the settings of the Gemini app on your phone.

In terms of device compatibility, this feature will also be available on the Pixel 10 series soon, though it’s not live yet. To check if you have it, look under “screen automation” in Gemini’s settings.
