At Xbox, we truly value your feedback. It’s vital in shaping how we enhance your gaming experience. Starting today, select Xbox Insiders can test out some exciting new features that many of you have requested. These updates will gradually be available to more Insiders and eventually to all players throughout the year.
One of the most requested updates is the ability to customize your Home screen. We’re increasing the number of groups you can create from 2 to 10. The process is now even easier—reordering groups is just like moving games around. You’ll also have a better view of which groups are already pinned in My Games & Apps.
Personal expression is important, and we’re excited to introduce custom colors for your console. You can now create a unique color that reflects your style. Adjusting the hue and shade is simple, and it will show subtly in your Guide. Plus, if you ever want to revert to system colors, your last custom choice will be saved for quick access.
The Quick Resume feature has quickly become a fan favorite, but we’ve heard that it sometimes can be hit or miss for certain games, especially after long breaks. With this update, you can turn off Quick Resume for individual games, ensuring they launch fresh each time. To find this setting, just open the options menu on a game tile and choose your preference.
We’re also making profile badges more visible. Now, when you check out profiles in the Guide, you’ll see the five most recently earned badges. This makes it easier to celebrate achievements with friends.
If you want to share your thoughts or need support, we encourage you to visit the Xbox Insider subreddit. It’s a great space where you can interact with Xbox staff and fellow gamers. Your feedback is crucial in helping us improve and shape future updates. Thank you for being an essential part of the Xbox community!
