Spotify might soon introduce a new audio quality option called “Music Pro.” This plan could include additional features for around $6 more each month.
According to a Bloomberg report, Spotify is looking to launch “Music Pro” later this year. This tier is expected to fulfill earlier promises of offering “Hi-Fi” audio, first mentioned back in 2021. Some users briefly noticed “Enhanced” audio settings last year, but nothing official has been released yet.
The “Music Pro” tier might come with cool features like “remixing tools” and access to concert tickets, in addition to improved audio quality. The remixing feature could allow users to mix tracks from different artists, possibly using AI assistance. There’s also talk of offering pre-sale tickets or better seating at concerts, although details are still under wraps.
Reportedly, this new tier could cost an extra $5.99 monthly. Currently, the individual Spotify Premium plan costs $11.99. So, if you want “Music Pro,” the total could be around $16.99 each month.
