Come join us on Wednesday, March 5 at noon Pacific for the Deep Space DX Hack Chat with David Prutchi!

Over the last 70 years, various countries have launched many spacecraft into space. While some of these machines have fallen back to Earth, others are still roaming the cosmos, although many are silent and no longer functioning.
Fortunately, a few of these spacecraft are still active. They send faint radio signals from far distances, reaching us with the right equipment, though some require large dish antennas to pick up. However, you don’t need a huge operation to listen in. David Prutchi has been using a simple backyard setup to hear these distant echoes, and he’s had some exciting successes, catching signals from Mars rovers and Jupiter probes.
If you’ve ever thought about exploring deep space signals, this is your perfect opportunity to learn from an expert. Our Hack Chats are engaging community conversations, and this one is set for March 5 at 12:00 PM Pacific time. Not sure about the timing? Use our time zone converter to find out when it starts in your area.
