If you’re an older adult or you care for one, join us for an insightful meeting with the Seniors’ Council of Douglas County (SCDC) on Thursday, March 6. We’ll gather at the Douglas County Library in Event Hall A, located at 20105 E. Mainstreet, Parker. This event is free and open to everyone.

Our speaker, Kelly O’Connor, is a recognized leader in aging services. She has a wealth of experience, having spent 15 years in senior care and even delivered a TEDx talk on longevity.

During the meeting, O’Connor will share her knowledge about the growing longevity industry. As people live longer, new opportunities have emerged in healthcare and community living. She recently took on a role as vice president of strategic partnerships and growth for the Society of Certified Senior Advisors. O’Connor states, “I will provide insights on how to succeed long-term, from personal healthcare to multi-generational living.”

Looking ahead, we’re excited about the upcoming event, Vintage and Vibrant 2025, on September 17 at the new Highlands Ranch Senior Center. This full-day program will include hands-on activities and informative talks tailored for older adults. Be sure to mark your calendars!
