Unlock Winning Secrets: Levitan’s Week 6 DFS Cash Lineup Review

I usually spend about 60% of my weekly action on cash games. Cash games are contests where roughly half of the players get paid, like head-to-head matchups or double-ups. My goal is to maximize my head-to-head plays, with a cash lineup for both DraftKings and FanDuel.

Every week, I’ll share my cash-game lineups and my thought process, whether I win or lose.

For FanDuel, here’s my roster:

  • QB: Trevor Lawrence
  • RB: Rico Dowdle
  • RB: Javonte Williams
  • WR: Puka Nacua
  • WR: Ladd McConkey
  • WR: Stefon Diggs
  • TE: Michael Mayer
  • FLEX: Josh Jacobs
  • D/ST: Raiders

This week had some interesting running back options. Picking the right three was key. I noticed some viable lower-cost plays at QB, TE, and D/ST.

Key Players

Puka Nacua was priced at $8700, which is high but still a good deal for his role similar to Cooper Kupp. While there were concerns about wind and defensive players returning, I felt his floor and ceiling made him a must-have.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba was another standout. Priced at $7600 and performing exceptionally well, he became a favorite in my lineups.

For quarterbacks, I mainly looked at Trevor Lawrence and Drake Maye. I preferred Maye but couldn’t fit him into my lineup, so I went with Lawrence, who was facing a weakened Seahawks defense.

In terms of running backs, I had six names in mind: Dowdle, Rachaad White, Javonte Williams, Josh Jacobs, Christian McCaffrey, and Jonathan Taylor. I ended up going with Dowdle, Williams, and White, as they all projected to get a lot of touches against poor defenses.

When it came to D/ST, I aimed for a low-cost option. The Dolphins were facing a weakened Chargers’ offensive line and were priced at just $2200.

Ultimately, I weighed my final decisions carefully. I opted for Chris Olave and Michael Mayer over Ladd McConkey and Hunter Long because I wanted Olave’s higher volume. However, I did take a chance on McConkey for FanDuel.

Week 6 Results

Unfortunately, Puka Nacua suffered an ankle injury, which was tough to swallow. But I still had another winning week overall, especially appreciating how I handled the tight end position.

Year-To-Date Review

Here’s how my lineup fared over the weeks:

  • Week 1 DraftKings: 111.32 points, won 37.0%
  • Week 2 DraftKings: 145.40 points, won 76.5%
  • Week 3 DraftKings: 168.68 points, won 70.6%
  • Week 4 DraftKings: Did not play
  • Week 5 DraftKings: 192.22 points, won 87.5%
  • Week 6 DraftKings: 153.92 points, won 56.8%

On FanDuel:

  • Week 1: 114.22 points, won 92.3%
  • Week 2: 119.00 points, won 95.2%
  • Week 3: 149.42 points, won 82.6%
  • Week 4: Did not play
  • Week 5: 177.7 points, won 89.4%
  • Week 6: Points TBD, won 90.1%

These results show a solid trend, and while injuries can impact lineups, strategic planning helps navigate challenges effectively.
