Unlock Your Career Potential: Explore St. Cloud State University’s Expanded Online Business Degree Programs

St. Cloud State University is making a big change in its degree offerings. After cutting 42 degree programs and 54 faculty positions last year, the university announced five new online programs to kick off this fall.

Among these offerings are two graduate programs: a Master of Business Administration with a focus on business analytics and a graduate certificate in business analytics. They are also introducing three undergraduate degrees in finance, marketing, and management.

Provost Katherina Pattit shared that these new programs aim to provide flexibility and relevance for today’s learners. They are designed to equip students with important skills to succeed in a fast-evolving job market.

In Minnesota, the demand for marketing specialists is expected to rise by 14% in the next decade, as reported by the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development. The need for finance managers, management analysts, and operations managers will also see significant increases of 16%, 9%, and 7%, respectively.

These programs are developed in partnership with Risepoint, an online education platform founded in 2007. Fernando Bleichmar, CEO of Risepoint, emphasized that these courses cater to the needs of working adults, career changers, and students aiming for meaningful careers.

With the world of work changing rapidly, continuing education is more important than ever. Now might be the perfect time for those looking to advance their careers or shift to a new field.
