The Presidential National Library is like Türkiye’s gateway to knowledge. It offers exciting workshops in science, technology, design, and more.

This library holds the title of the largest in Türkiye’s history, boasting over 5 million printed works. It’s not just a treasure trove of information; it also attracts many children and teens who come for various workshops.
Workshops at the library suit participants aged 5 to 20 at the Science and Technology Workshops and the Nasreddin Hodja Children’s Library. There’s also the Digital Transformation Talent Center for those aged 15 to 40.
Last year alone, the library hosted 497 workshops, involving 4,795 eager learners. It features 14 classrooms, including spaces for experiments by TÜBITAK, ASELSAN, and the Defense Industry Presidency, plus areas dedicated to digital skills and even a chess classroom.
Run by knowledgeable instructors, the workshops cover topics like robotic coding, app development, wooden design, 3D geometric modeling, and electronic programming.
Families can sign up for these engaging activities without any cost by visiting the library’s official website.
Deniz Elya Çelikbaş, who participated in a 3D Pen Printer Workshop, shared her excitement: “There are so many workshops here. Everyone can join in the fun and create. I can’t wait to show my school friends what I learned!”
Elif Nisa Temel enjoyed her time too, stating, “We learned how to make shapes with a 3D pen. Decorating my snowman was the best part!”
Ümmügülsüm Akay found the workshops while viewing the library’s site: “My son loves 3D printing. When he saw this, he was thrilled! These activities are wonderful and will really help with his learning. We want to come back for more.”
Okan Karakuş also praised the program: “My son is growing here. Working with others and sharing experiences is so important.”
