Unlocking Climate Solutions: Amna Al Dahak Shares Insights on Tackling Climate Change

His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, the Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Sharjah Media Council, kicked off the fourth Conservation Summit in Aljada, Sharjah. This event is part of the Xposure International Photography Festival and was attended by Her Excellency Dr. Amna bint Abdullah Al Dahak Al Shamsi.

Dr. Al Dahhak spoke about the summit’s focus on the migration of living organisms due to issues like pollution, climate change, and overexploitation of resources. She emphasized how important global festivals like Xposure are in raising awareness about environmental protection and responsible resource use.

The UAE is dedicated to environmental issues, showcasing this commitment by protecting 15% of its land. This effort is part of a larger strategy to address pressing environmental challenges worldwide.

Now in its fourth year, the Conservation Summit brings together photographers, experts, and activists. Attendees share best practices and explore effective solutions for environmental conservation, reinforcing the importance of collaboration in preserving our planet.
